Here is a brief clip of a herd of Brown Swiss cows that we stumbled upon on our hike in the hills surrounding Zurich during a visit from my brother Chris and his partner Roby during early September. This has special meaning for the Roe boys, who had Brown Swiss cows on their farm growing up in Wisconsin.

I have long heard of these Brown Swiss cows of days gone by in Wisconsin. It was pure joy to watch Brian and Chris' face light up when we came around a bend and saw the Brown Swiss. If you listen you could hear the bells. That was a plus. What was better was the interest in the cows by Isaac and Elliot. A family tradition passed down.
